“The staff at Cogo Ryogoku were incredibly helpful when I had a severe ear infection. They found a doctor open on a Sunday and made an appointment for me. I was very grateful for their excellent service and care. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the train station, and the beds were comfortable with privacy curtains. The spacious kitchen was a bonus, allowing several people to cook at once. Despite minor drawbacks like thin walls and a bright bunk light, I'd recommend this place for its helpful staff and comfortable amenities.”

8.2Verified guest

“The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Misaki who went out of her way to assist with motorcycle rentals. The location was superb, with easy access to nearby attractions and just a short walk to JR Ryogoku Station. The family room was spacious and had its own private bathroom, a great convenience. I also loved the traditional Japanese theme throughout, adding to the cultural experience. The kitchen was large and well-equipped, helping us save money by cooking our own meals. No complaints at all.”

8.2Verified guest

“Great communal dining, kitchen, and lounge area – spacious and well-equipped, allowing guests to cook and save money. The nearby Maruetsu Petite supermarket was handy for groceries. Staff were accommodating during check-in and quick to respond to messages.”

8.2Verified guest

“Spacious family room, friendly staff, big common room, close to the subway.”

“We had a great stay at this hostel-style hotel. Despite the small space, our family of four found it surprisingly comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious, with comfortable beds and private bathrooms. The seventh floor was a bonus, with a kitchen, laundry, and gathering area. Three separate sink areas – in the bedroom, shower room, and washroom – were extremely convenient for all of us using water at once. The staff even picked up our laundry. The design was interesting and it was the biggest room we'd had in Japan.”
